Read Your Way (Ages 7-12)

This class is based on the Wilson Reading system to help children with their reading skills so as to comprehend and enjoy reading to a greater extent. The Wilson Reading System (WRS) teaches the structure of the English language directly, using an integrated and sequential system in 12 steps (not corresponding to a student’s grade level). WRS uses a systematic and integrated approach to decoding morphology and the study of word elements, encoding, and orthography (internalizing the rules that govern the English language) to break down a word so that the student may read with fluency and, hence, better comprehension.

When: Mondays(1pm-4pm) and Wednesdays (1pm-4pm)
